Windy Mondays
Mar 31st, 2008 by Anna
This weekend Oscar informed us that he doesn’t like windy Mondays. No one likes Mondays, so I guess he figured he didn’t have to tell us that basic level of information. The weekends are such a treat for Oscar because Brian is able to dedicate lots of guy time to him. In fact, he gets upset when I try to play with him if Brian is around. I know that I am making all of the wrong sounds for rocketships and car crashes. Daddies do this kind of thing so much better.
Mondays aren’t too shabby for me, however. Oscar’s back at school today. One taste of life with preschool and I am never going back.
Laurel had the hiccups this morning. Perfect blog material, right?
I also wanted to inform you about my newest effort to better my health. I’ve switched from black tea to green tea. I figure that they are both acquired tastes, and that I’ve just got to give it some time. It is day 2 of green tea and there is no black tea in the house. I’m going to finish the box I have in the pantry and then decide if I want to continue. I felt this morning that the flavor is best when the tea is very warm–probably because I can’t really taste it!
Anna,
That is so cute. I love that I can see Laurel on video. She is getting so big. I too am with Oscar, I do not like windy Mondays.
FYI – Try the Tazo Zen Green Tea. I relly like it it is not bitter at all. Greg even drinks it.
Enjoy!

Oh, green tea! You are a brave soul. I need my coffee and only resort to the black tea if the cupboard is empty. My one and only vice…yep, I need my coffee. One day I know I will have to let it go, but we are having a torrid affair.
Gosh, I hate windy Mondays, too.
Oh my, just knock the boy down! Coffee is for parents of two or more kids. The girl child is a crawling guru. Unless you start drinking coffee, it will be very hard for you to capture Ms.Laurel.
There is no “meat” in tea. Parents need meat.
