Grammy & Poppy’s House

My parents live in the same house that I grew up in and it is a very special home. There’s a creek that runs through the side of the property and the house is situated at the bottom of a sloping field. The house is arranged with lovely views of the field from the living room, kitchen, and deck. When we visit we wile away hours watching the birds or sometimes we stare at the grass moving like waves in the wind. The kids play on the same tire swing that my sisters and I used. Downtown Murphys is a short walk away with all kinds of restaurants and wine tasting rooms. Downtown also has Murphys Park with its larger creek, shade trees, and playground. Our kids have an amazing time playing up there for all of these great features and also for all the the attention that my parents give them. I could wax poetic here for much longer to try to counteract the stressful day I had, but I won’t bore you any longer. Here’s some shots of the kids from last week’s Murphys visit. Tell me if you like what you see and I try to take you up there sometime.
We know that he has the binoculars backwards–just likes it that way!
