Anarchy…who are we kidding? Must be Halloween. Laurel is going to be a ghost for trick-or-treating tonight, but I thought I’d give her a day costume as well. How do you like this “Smells Like Teen Spirit” cheerleader?

Get In My Stomach

Laurel has been up to her old tricks. You know…growing up so fast and acting so sweet. Her vocabulary is developing (Dada, Mama, This & That, Uh-Oh, Thank You) and she’s picked up on a couple of baby signs very easily. We’ve been taking swim lessons since May. Oscar’s gained a lot of confidence in the water and is probably on the verge of some kind of break-through. He’s been crushing on his instructor all summer and usually likes to try to impress her. He’ll have a new teacher this week, wish us luck!

Drum Circle

Don’t tell the authorities. Our kids have a little drum circle ritual going on. You can join in this after-bath, pre-bed jam session if you bring your own mojo. As you can see, clothing is optional.
